TESTIMONIAL

‘For several years now, I have been enjoying crafting classes at Re-Create Today in Whitley Bay. Besides being a wonderfully stocked gift shop, all sorts of classes are organised by the proprietor, Alison Lumley, in the upstairs studio.

I have been taught all sorts of skills, from mastering the use of a sewing machine, to making garments, rag rug techniques, candle making, sea glass jewellery and Christmas ornaments, crochet, patchwork and quilting by Alison and the excellent tutors she recruits. The classes are a wonderfully therapeutic 2 hours or so, spent in like Company, learning useful skills for a reasonable fee, which can be carried on in your own time. Just lovely!’
